Here's my entry for the GB Pixel Art Jam 2023
Theme: "An Awesome Discovery"
A boy on a hike with his dog suddenly comes across a floating alien, suspended above a peculiar device. Is he friend or foe? His dog seems oddly calm as if the creature is able to communicate to him without using words. The boy holds the leash tight, unsure of what to do next. Should he run and tell someone of his discovery? Would they even believe him?!

That dog sprite is stellar, and I love you knew to give it a white leash to make it really pop/stand out against the dog and background.
